Why I made AutoCropper
One Christmas break during college, I wondered what would happen if all the print photos in our basement somehow were lost.
I looked into a couple different options, and ultimately decided to buy an Epson V600 photo scanner and scan them (I don't know why, but here we are).
The scanner advertised its ability to automatically split individual photos from each scan. That is, you could place 3-4 photos or however many you could fit (or even more, like those little league refrigerator magnets) on the scanner, with a little bit of white space separating them, and click scan.
It did this, sure, but it took about 10 times longer and made an individual scan for each one which made me really frustrated so I made this app.
